Ok now to current times. Last week I had an interview with Soccer United Media, the marketing branch of Major League Soccer, who has exclusive broadcasting rights for the World Cup this summer. I wasn't expecting to hear back so soon, but I've been offered an internship with the World Cup!!

I don't know what exactly I'll be doing yet, but I have 2 possibilities of jobs. Either I'll be working with the producers and executives at the International Business Center here in Munich on logistics, some gopher work, translating, and taking care of them culturally, or I'll be at every single World Cup game on the phone with someone from ABC/ESPN.

yes, that's right, i'll be paid (a buttload of money) to watch every single World Cup game live. Unfortunately they're looking for a real soccer geek for that one, so even though I fully understand the game of soccer, they would prefer someone who knows most of the players just by their faces. I'm more likely to get the 1st job, but they're still at least considering me for the really cool one.

That's the biggest news I have for now, i miss all of you, and have a great christmas and new years. it sucks balls that i can't be home for it, but it'll be a very unique, and i'm sure wonderful, holiday season for me, as i'm sure it will be for all of you too. drop me a line, and i'll update my pics today or tomorrow too.
